by Elise M. on What is this line you speak of? Princesses don't wait in line. We walk straight in, and we don't pay cover. (Thank you again J & R!!) Great venue, with wonderful ventilation, a spacious smoking patio (with heaters!) several fully stocked bars, and a wonderful team of promoters and staff. Parking can be sketchy, so valet if you can. The drinks are expensive ($12+) but strong, especially if you treat the 'tender with respect. Ladies, there are tons of stairs, everywhere, and lots of slick floors, so choose your shoes with that in mind!
by Bea Vails on I had a great time here, but I think it's a matter of mindset and the company you keep. If I had been there with a different crew, it might have been a different experience. At one point we felt like the token brown chicks. The DJ was friendly, and but his music kind of sucked....He told me that he's been having computer problems and lost a lot of music...That's why I prefer DJ's with vinyl. The staff here are some of the friendliest I met anywhere. As others have mentioned, there are a TON of chicks here. And to get in, the guys either grease the bouncers, buy a table, are somebody, or know somebody, etc. If you are a girl and want to have a great time, dress like a Harlot. You will get in quickly.
by Foolio D. on I think they serve one of the better burgers in LA (any style including their very good turkey burger). Their fries are also very good. Though I have friends who refuse to eat here because of the less than desirable service. Which might be a good thing though, because there usually is plenty of space and finding a seat isnt an issue. Definitely check it out if you're looking for a good burger and fries without a hassle.
