let me preface my review by saying that i don't like clubs. never have, prob never really will. i'm more of a sports bar kind of guy. now onto the review it was ok. was a lil cautious after some of the bad reviews. went on a saturday for GIANT saturdays there. the line was gross but try not to give attitude and hope karma is good to you that night. and i have to say i had a pretty good time. the crowd was very mixed, which i didnt expect, but kinda liked. not too much attitude. of course the bar takes a while, but that can be said about any bar right? if you go for the music you'll definitely enjoy. trance and techno were the main floor. house in the smaller room. but the bigger djs bring bigger crowds, this will definitely affect your experience, but for the lesser known acts, i'd say it's just right. the outside smoking patio is great, esp for summer nights. gets crowded so you its hard to find a place to sit though :/ overall it was ok. an LA club w/ LA prices. i didn't really get to check out the smaller room, just glanced at it, but it was alot less crowded. i'd go back, maybe even for a bigger act like kaskade

bleh.....nothing great but I guess if you lived in the area and had no car then I guess you don't have a choice. So it's my bad since I actually drove there...but I was invited. Yeah...still no excuse. 1 star since I was invited 2 stars for the number of bars they had -1 star for turning me into one of those sweaty guys ;D

I love this place! More so than the bar upstairs. The atmosphere is just gorgeous! No Stella though. The asian theme suits the place quite nicely. Do not come in here with a polo shirt and shorts, because you just about kill the mood. Saw Lily Allen perform here last year, it just about knocked my first favorite small concert venue in the city, Bowery Ballroom, out of the water. FYI, if you come early to line up for a show, form your line to the left of the entrance (your left, if your facing the venue head on).
