by Matt E. on 3.5 stars This is the cleanest and one of the nicest places you'll ever find to go bowling. It's spotless and very chic with its modern decor, stylish bar and lounge area. I'm surprised they didn't have Calvin Klein designer bowling shoes. This is a place to go to kill the assumptions that bowling alley's are wood paneled smoky scummy places erected in the 70s and full of fat rednecks and senior citizens groups. If you're a well-off wall street kinda guy or a woman who likes to spend hundreds on your shoes and hand bags then this is a great place to come on a date or with your many friends and/or co-workers. For me this place is way too expensive and my ideal Bowling alley would be in between the stereotypes (which many of the places in the outer boroughs fit to a T) and here. This place is cool to impress your friends and have a party like environment with it's black lights and music videos playing above the lanes but its just too expensive to come here from time to time.
by Jewel Scott on bleh also... so many clubs in sf...you could do better. -parking sucks -a homeless guy accosts me for money to watch my car.... what choice do I have? -downstairs is too hot -upstairs is too empty -lost someone's cell phone (don't loan me your phone when I drink) -$$$ drinks
by Ann H. on This will be the last midtown club I'll ever step foot in... Disappointing just like China Club, but I'll try to give a useful description of the place... So we came here on a Friday night probably some time after midnight. Entered and there is this bar area with palm tree decoration I think. Then you enter another room and that's where the main dance floor is. So they've got this runway kind of thing set up in the middle, some space on the two sides of this "runway," and then tables to the sides surrounding the space. I found the runway thing kinda silly and cheesy, but people were up there dancing. Music was forgettable. Honestly, there weren't even that many people there. Argh I don't want to sound so whiney, but ALL THE MIDTOWN CLUBS ARE LAME! :( Oh PS: whoever's idea it was to bring us here, I'm gonna hunt you down... boo :(
