by Ron K. on I had heard so many good things about Alfredo's, so I decided to go with a group of friends. I was kind of skeptic at first, since the building appears to be a little rundown. The inside of the restaurant is slightly better, although a little dark, perhaps to set the mood. At first, our server was enthusiastic, and it seemed that he was passionate about his job. We ordered the garlic bread, which turned out ok. I ordered alfredo with shrimp, and it was the most bland Italian food I've ever had, not to mention oily. However the worst was yet to come. The server gave us our bill and left to attend another table. He came back, and before even counting the money, he asked, "Where is my tip?." I was shocked. Never in my life has a server asked me that question. As he counted the money and saw that there was a large tip included he said, "Oh, nevermind." It totally ruined my experience at this restaurant.
