As soon as we touched down in PHX and picked up our rental car, we headed to Delux for some late night grubb. I was hungry but my other half wasn't as she ate on the flight to PHX. Upon entering, we were promptly seated. The ambiance is very nice. We ordered a Delux burger, sweet potato fries, and a gazpacho soup. The sweet potato fries came out first, and it was great start to the meal. The Delux burger and soup came out a few minutes later. The Delux burger was good, but not great. The meat was prepared just about right and the burger was the right amount for the price but honestly I've had better. The soup like a crushed bowl of salsa with a nice kick to it. One thing that stood out about this place was the service. Our server Brad took very good care of us and ensured that we were happy and taken care of. I would recommend Delux as a nice late night to eat at.

I am now a fan of Dragon thanks to my lovely roommate and The Rice Rockettes! I rang in the new year Spice Girls style with a gang of friends & drag queen fun! And I must say I had a blast. Especially a bigger blast when you get mistake for a drag queen! :D I was deceived by the outside of Club Eight. And they're right-never judge a book by it's cover. Inside the bar is two stories of dancing and over indulging on drinks! I'm not a big time clubber-but I had a relaxing time dancing around. It was surprisingly not too crowded, and the bar service was awesome- quick and friendly service with reasonable prices. Plus a free glass of champagne with my NYE admission! Whether you're gay or straight-Dragon seems to be a welcoming place for all to create memorable times! What a start to the year 2010! :)

Overpriced, a bit pretentious, some of the items on the menu are the same as you would get at any other Chinese restaurant. The Kobe beef appetizer is pretty decent, but I think Kobe beef with anything would be nice. We got leftovers home and didn't even feel like eating them. I got the seabass--it was very sweet and too buttery, i felt like the grease was coming out my pores by the end of it. My boyfriend go the steak and noodles which were limp and soggy rather than crisp and flavorful--tasted like week old beef lo mein from the chinese take out around the corner. The decor is nice at this place--definitely go here if you want to see pretty people. There's a huge Buddha on one side of the restaurant--by the way, why are there suddenly all these restaurants with Buddhas? Would we want restaurants all over the place with huge Jesus statues? I just don't get it really.
