by Shhhh A. on When I was an out of towner visiting LA, my friend brought me here for the pool party. I guess it was bad luck, but the crowd shoulda been at the gym instead of poolside. Saw a few clown-faced chicks too - seriously? you're wearing that much makeup with your swimsuit?
by jasmine o. on T. Boyles! It's my new place, and if it wasn't for that chalkboard sign on the street I would've never found it. Great beer, cheap prices, easy going crowd, live music, shuffleboard/darts, and pickled eggs! (Why do those excite me? I still haven't convinced anyone I know to try one yet...) I'm so glad it's away from the junk in Old Town and it's non pretentious; just a good ol' neighborhood bar. Side note: I want to rename this place "The Rhino and the Moose Bar". If you don't know what I'm talking about you probably should go and check it out. I know you're curious. And say hi to the giant tiki statue for me. Okay now I really sound drunk.
