I had more fun here, dancing on the table tops to Lady Gaga, sipping on bottomless mimosas, than I have dancing in a night club with guys pouring over me. Eff that - give me the craziest, most fun-loving crowd in the Castro over a bunch of doucey straight boys any day. I LOVE LIME. The mimosas are divine and the chocolate chip pancakes were freakin awesome. I will definitely be back...

I mean, is there anything better than a good stiff Martini and sitting around a grand piano to make you feel glamorous? I didn't think so.

A Confession I thought I'd never been to Halo before. Before tonight (er, last night? Monday? Whenever . . . ), that is. I even said as much to the four of us still at Cypress, debating whether to send ourselves home like good little children or go next door for "just one drink." Uh, yeah. As soon as I walked in, I realized - "oh, wait!!" . . . "I HAVE been here!" . . . Hmm, guess I wasn't sober on my original visit . . . Loved the photo booth. Not sure how great our pics turned out (I thought I was having a good hair day, but . . . ). Really loved the Madonna ("Holiday," my most-favorite-ever Madge song was rocking) and old-school MJ playing. Not terrible at all to go with a regular like Kit F. who knows, um, everyone there. Super people-watching - even on a Monday!! Now that I've put two-and-two together (and gotten four!) I know I dig Halo. Maybe I'll even earn one, one day . . . we'll see!
