Came here last night (Friday) and had a BLAST! Two of my college buddies celebrated their 25th birthdays, with picture snapping and bottle service galore. While Vessel's dimly lit lighting creates a wonderful ambiance for club-goers, it was too darn hot in there. I thought I was breaking a sweat from dancing so much, but after asking about five other people I found that it was the club's temperature. As previous rateclubsers might have already mentioned, the private booth areas surround the dance floor. The dance floor is a decent size but it may be difficult to get to either the bar or exit; it can get pretty crowded. Our VIP area was very spacious and had a nice, sturdy table so that we could dance on it, and the service made sure that we remained stocked with lemonade, cranberry juice and orange juice. Very nice. The DJ randomly fluctuated between top 40 hip hop and house throughout the night, which became pretty annoying. Apparently he though that ungraciously mixing "Back That A** Up" and "Just Dance" would definitely get the crowd going. Other than that, the music was great! Finally, here is where the subtraction of one star comes in: the bar. The service is TERRIBLE. There were a ton of people waiting and there was only ONE bartender actually bartending while THREE other bartenders were talking and drinking. What the f***?! And she moved at a snails pace. I brought the already tipsy birthday girl to the bar to buy her a patron shot and waited almost 15 freakin' minutes. Then I was told the shot was $12. For a SHOT of the often overrated patron?? You gotta be kidding me. Overall, really nice place. To put in perspective, its the exact opposite of the DNA Lounge (LOVE that place). It's very LA-ish. If you are in good company and ready to dance come here. Just make sure you're prepared to sweat and try to have drinks before or get bottle service, it's much faster.

This is where negative stars would come in handy. NYE = disaster, false advertising, lines around the block, more lines, dirty, no organization whatsoever. Stood in line for over an hours (with prepaid tickets), and almost did not get in by midnight. They had only ONE little table outside to check everyone in. The whole table area downstairs was empty, and they wanted to charge minimum $600 for bottle service. And the theme rooms ... the only way I knew I was in "Hollywood" was the sign that said "Hollywood!" I've had house parties with more forethought. Never again!

i loveeeee this place! i had so much fun here singing until i lost my voice and drinking soju like there was no tomorrow!! this is definitely a fun place to hang out with friends, drink and just have a good time! I like coming with a small group because the room is more cozier that way! I don't remember how much we paid, but i don't think it was bad considering all the drinks we got. They even brought us a plate of fruit later in the night!! their selection of American songs is not bad too!!
