by Ricky Flammang on If you ever need a quick pick me up... meet me at the Claremont Lounge. This iconic dive never claimed to be the best or have the sexiest dancers, but the entertainment (enjoyment and smile factor) is paramount over most places. Whether you want to get smothered by Porsha or watch Blondie crush cans, this place is entertaining for all!
by Mitch Palermo on I went for breakfast at the Majestic a few weeks ago, and it was great! I ordered some mexican style eggs that came on 2 flour tortillias with salsa, black beans, and cream cheese. A really nice suprise was when I ordered hot tea, I didn't just get the sh*tty lipton, I got a little container with several tea options, I chose English Breakfast if you have to know. It was a busy Saturday, but our service was attentive and helpful. The waitress even dealt with my friend's onion "issues" in a very pleasent, helpful way. My friends food was really good too. Prices are good, portions are big, everything tasted fresh. What's not to love? Do yourself, and your community, a favor by supporting a locally owned diner that serves good food!
by Nydia C. on So the other night, my friend Michael and I decided to go to Greenhouse for the Kill Hannah after-party. They'd opened for She Wants Revenge and mentioned they'd be there after the show so we decided to check it out. Not everyone was able to get in but we managed to and had a great time! I loved the atmosphere and the music was great too. The greenhouse theme reminds me of my favorite place in Miami, Grass. I definitely want to go back. :)
