Wow, this is much better than the other location I reviewed! Plenty of pastries and snacks to choose from, a huge menu of beverages, lots of seating and a patio. Definitely worth the trip.

Busby's left a strange impression on me. I came for a friend's birthday and we were escorted to a raised area beside the dance floor. The drink server was really nice and remembered my friend from only seeing him once before, but she didn't seem to understand any of the things we said to her or asked her. The music was a standard top 40's play list. However, there was also this live band playing older '80's music. Their first set was fun, but when they came back, the volume had been raised to a level that made us literally plug our ears! Needless to say, we left shortly after.

Uniquely located on Pier 66 along the Westside Highway, I don't know of any other places like this in The City that offer prime views of the lovely Hudson, and the even lovelier armpit state of Joisey, while allowing you to enjoy tin pails of Coronas, burgers, crispy calamari, garlic fries, and other such fun-time foods. Seating is widely available and there are swaths of large groups of 10 or more across the whole boat. There's seating in every nook and exploitable cranny. I think the roof really is the best, though it will be a bit more cramped. The atmosphere is enjoyably lively and is generated by a collective of young professionals ranging from the misplaced hipsters, Chelsea chaps, Giants fans waiting for the 8pm game, and Asians. The food is decent but I'd have to say that the prices are definitely not. You're overpaying for everything: $7 for a small plate of calamari, ~$12 for a bad margherita pie, and $35 for six Coronas! The crabcake is also good but they only give you one for ~$13. A bouncer is lacking and the entrance way very much free of any sort of hindrance that would stop any astute diner from smuggling in their own stash of beer and food. This just might be the plan for next time. Although I must say that since I came on an early September evening when the wind chill picked up after 7pm or so, I was definitely caught cold and goosebumping for a good portion of the night. But of course, my most understanding girlfriend notified me that I should nut up or shut up and bear the Hudson breeze. This I did, but next time I'm definitely bringing my cashmere cardigan!
