You can get an amazing half pound burger, a heaping order of fries, and a cold soda all for 5 dollars. Club 51 also offers great drink prices, which is great for when there is entertainment such as live music and dj's.

by michele s. on I met up w/ a friend at Medici before a show at Slim's, and lucked into happy hour! two drinks for the price of one, and six or seven dollars for small plates. We had a crispy, tasty pizza, some wonderful creamy-hot goat cheese croquettes, an assortment of wonderful cheeses, a nice salad, and the complimentary warm, spiced olives were addictive! The bartender was very friendly and the chef even came out to say hello and ask how we liked the food. I thought the decor was pretty and they have a very nice restroom (always a plus!). Overall, it was a stellar experience. It's my new pre-Slim's spot for sure!

The bar has the routine trappings of a college dive bar, but also has some specific perks. A private room in the back and a private bar room down stairs give the bar an edge over its similar neighbors. The bar also has a fooseball table, (broken) pool table, and a beer pong table that folds up. Drinks and food are typical prices, but happy hour specials are always available.
by MissSkip Z. on This place is CRAZY. It's my favourite dancing spot in the city. It's hot, it's sweaty, it's always jam packed and pumping, and the margaritas and the beats are killer. If you get claustrophobic this is probably not the place for you. One word of warning for my fellow ladies, watch out for the wandering enthusiatic hands. And one more thing... there's only one bathroom so be prepared for a long wait time.
