by Rachel S. on Really delicious drinks, great service and yummy food. We were there for a business dinner and we all set to eat, drink and be merry. I love the Knock-Out Rose cocktail. Perfectly light but totally alcoholic. For starters, we had the chicken livers (which were actually pretty good), the fried green tomatoes (delicious!) and the Pimento Cheese. Then, I had the Fried Chicken with green beans and mashed potatoes, which was so good, but totally gave me a bigger ass just by looking at it! It was a Monday night and the place was packed. Great vibe and cheer. A definite recommend for business or pleasure.
by Jen T. on So this place reminds me a lot of Candelari's in Houston, except the decor's a little different. You definitely feel like you've walked into the log cabin you rented in Colorado, and the mini deer heads mounted on the wall prove that you're a lover of animals and wouldn't have real deer heads mounted on the wall, duh. .... So the best thing about this place was the martini that I had a sip of (via my friend, thanks!) and the half price happy hour pizzas! All 7 girls were full and we only paid $5 each including the drinks we had, which were mainly soft drinks. But still! The pizzas were a big enough size and it filled all of us up. We had the margherita and roasted chicken. Both weren't anything I hadn't had before nor were they too memorable, but the price made me a believer. I would go back for that!
