Opera Nightclub... Wow I could literally write a novel about this place - with very few positive things to say. When this place started out it was pretty cool but, now its horrible and needs to change something immediately. I have come to this venue since I was using a fake ID years ago and let me say, Atlanta's only true large nightclub has really lost its touch. Staff: There are a few cool people who work there but, the staff has evolved into what I believe to be a tightly nit group of buddies who think they are so damn cool because they work at Opera haha (LIke seriously guys, you work at a nightclub...a nightclub). Nothing wrong with befriending co-workers but, the vibe that they portray is snobby and uninviting. Some serious restructuring and lessons on customer service are needed asap. Atmosphere: The club layout and decor I must admit is very cool and I really like how it has been updated. Crowd: The people who you will find at Opera is really, mmm how can we say, ah "international"? Nothing wrong with that but, when you get looked down upon for being a white american guy for no justifiable reason, you can understand why all of the North Atlanta population would never come here. My conclusion: I will try to avoid this place at all costs personally. The only way I might be caught there would be to see a DJ they have visiting but, even then its so damn expensive you know your gonna be regretting it the next day (I failed to mention OPERA is EXTREMELY OVERPRICED!!). Count me out and see you at a more classy venue.

Eh. I've been there several times and it's a litttttllle overrated. I'm not saying its not great- definitely try it out..once, to say you've been there. But after going there for a while, it gets boring. Nothing is really appealing of the decor either...why was this place so hot? I give it three stars because everytime ive been there ive had fun. Was actually there last night, but not my first choice on a place to go out to at night.

Decent bar, but security should really learn how to size up VIPs before pissing on them. When an arrangement had already been made between the right people, think twice before undoing a deal that could lead to a large number of people leaving your place of business. In life we are all faced with making choices, often shoved up again what we think we are supposed to do vs. what we know we should do. Those who rise in success chose what they know to be the right path rather than laying the blame on "my boss told me to", especially when the boss isn't there to do the telling. Needless to say, I won't be returning.
