After searching club after club in the area, we stumbled across Door 44. Cover was $20 p/p drinks were really cheap. Being from the NY area 2 drinks for $12 = cheap! After midnight, Belvidere open bar. Music was bangin! Biz Markie was dj'ing that night. We stayed til about 2am. The parking is difficult in the area but there is a self park parking lot about 2 blocks away. Beware of the drunk dude in the lot trying to bum money off of you!

went to dinner with a friend. the ship/restaurant is very nice. i ordered the wasabi crusted sea bass - YUM and also ordered the lobster mac&cheese - lobster + mac&cheese there is nothing more i can say about that it just carries itself. the food is a bit pricey but hey.. you're on a ship and you're at penns landing. moshulu is something i did once and probably would never do again. the food was great but i wasn't hooked wanting more.

The Phoenix is not a "Rock N Roll" hotel. I can't describe how disappointed my girlfriends and I were when the hotel manager came to our room at 10:50 to shut down our little bachelorette party. We rented the "Headliner's Suite", a room clearly designed for partying. The six of us were enjoying ourselves, and maybe laughing a bit loudly, but we were far from "Rock Star" loud. We pleaded with the stoic, angry manager to let us stay until 11:30 so that our stripper could do his thing. She steadfastly refused. She was completely inflexible and her anger towards us seemed really misplaced. We were not throwing TV's out of the window, for God's sake. I guess it's a family hotel now, and that's fine. Just don't advertise yourself as the Rock N Roll hotel and then shut the Saturday night party down at 10:50pm. So LAME!
