The bouncers will make sure you never get in. If you do get in and they identify you as gay, you will not be served. They HATE gay people which is ironic since they are in West Hollywood. If you go here you are supporting homophobia.

If it's your first time, you get the impression that your in for a great dining experience. Get there early, check in and head up to the bar. I think it's part of the experience. Have some small appetizers, great eats to start the night.... First timers... Just get the OMAKASE... AWESOME! hands down 7 courses that will impress, if you get one that you don't "love", the next one will defiantly get you back on track. If you go back again, the Second/Third OMAKASE's are a little bit of a gamble (more extreme goods but you may get some dishes that though good, may not be to your liking). The KOBE is amazing, maybe the only thing I would order besides the OMAKASE.... wow! all in all you have to go here atleast TWICE! SAKE pairing! First OMAKSE is the best!
by Jane A. on This is my favorite bar in the city!!! My husband loves the shuffleboard, but I'm particularly fond of the back patio, which is a lovely place to spend a warm evening with your friends. They also have fun dance nights (even though I'm extremely wary about dancing in public, I can be convinced here), and lots of fundraising events for great local organizations.
