Tropiciana nightclub Is hot!! I love this place. I personally was a little hasitent of this club, because of the location, but I was really impressed. It's a nice atmospher and great music! However, I have to say the service was not all that great. I made reserveration and had to wait around for 15 min for someone to attend to me and when they finally service me, the waitdress had a nasty attitude. Therefore, I made sure that she did not service me through the night. The waitdress that did service me through the night was nice, but she took forever to bring orders to the table. On the postive note, the coordinator of the club was extremely helpful in setting up the reservations. Any problems that you have consult with the coordinator she will make sure that you are well taken care of.

I've used to go to this place when it was called Rum Jungle. Its now called Maracas and its pretty much the same....the only difference is that there is more of a spanish crowd going there now on certain nights. It's still the go to west indian spot if you want a dose of West Indian music and food. Overall, its not bad. Make sure you get on a guestlist and get there before 12 if you dont want the hassle of paying, because once your in, the drinks are a pricey for what it is. There are table for bottle service, the dance floor is big, and there are dancers all around the club. The music they place are anything from hip hop, reggae, chutney, soca, reggaeton....anything that is popular and people can dance to is pretty much played. It is very different than the regular clubs in the city (ie: Amnesia, Marquee, etc) Be prepared for that! Good for a birthday party, if they are into West Indian/ Caribbean music or if you just want to experience something different.

It was a rainy night. A friend that I was supposed to meet up with for dinner cancelled at the last moment. I decided to have dinner anyway. On the way back to the car I walk past Blush. This amazing jazz trio is playing so I had to go inside. The wine is a little pricey and portions are not generous but what a cozy, comfortable, relaxed place! I'll be back!

Awful experience at Club Buca. First of all, the place is way too dark. It's like cave on the lower level. Second, part of it smells like vomit and alcohol. Third, the bouncers are incredibly hostile at closing time. I was casually getting my tab when the bouncers started shouting, "get the fuck out!" repeatedly. I asked them if they could be a little nicer considering the last group of us left standing there were just paying and getting ready to leave. That is when two guys twice my size wrestled me to the ground and literally threw me out of the bar. I didn't try to resist. I wasn't looking for an altercation, rather just some civility. I wasn't injured except for a slightly bloody lip. However, the experience was just extremely uncalled for and I will never spend money in that establishment again.
