How come none of you bastards told KC about this place? "Oh my God, the sausage is so amazing at Wurstkuche!!!" says rateclubser. "Langer's or Canter's...what say you?" says another rateclubser. "The Varnish has such awesome old school cocktails!" says you. Well go to hell. Why come nobody tell KC about Sam's? What it do....what it do? To quote my pal, Moliere, "I prefer an interesting vice to an annoying virtue."

Absolutely 5 star! Delicious food, charming environment and friendly service, and most important of all: you just keep asking for more. Everything's perfect, Morimoto has done a great job in satisfying my pallate. FYI: Seared scallops in the ultra modern decor is a must-have experience.

Since the very first time I walked into the Velvet, I loved it. To me, this represents some that is very L.A, very Hollywood. When people come out from out of town and I want to show them something different and a good time, I make sure the Velvet is on the list. The food is great, the drinks are especially great, BUT what I love about the velvet is the ambiance. The bar, is decorated with gold foil, moving marionettes, and two Latin movies projected right above the bar; and that is only the beginning. The entire place has some detail on the wall or the ceiling or the floor and you can't help but to think how cool all the little details are. I've attended birthday parties, and occasional late night romps around Hollywood, and everyone I've taken to the Velvet, falls in love with the Velvet. Be sure to buy your date the "Velvet Margarita" in a pineapple. It makes for a fun night. one of Hollywood's best! ** Always opt for Valet, save time and money **
