I learned my lesson -- check rateclubs before heading somewhere recommended by a hotel city guide. This was hands-down the worst club I have ever been to! After a late dinner show our group divided up with half of us heading to Infusion, mostly because of its proximity to our hotel and a quick glance at the website. It was a bit past midnight when we arrived and things seemed just fine, we handed over our IDs, chit-chatted with the keeper of the gate when he saw we were from Miami, proceeded in and that's were the pleasantries ended. We were greeted with a $20 cover and no credit card machine or ATM machine within the club. We were directed to an ATM about a block or so away. What kind of place, that is "nice" enough to charge a $20 cover can't get with the times and install a card machine?! However, we really wanted to dance and have a drink, so while we normally would have taken off somewhere else (we were working against the clock with SF bars closing at 2 a.m.) we got our cash, walked back, paid and proceeded to walk into hell. This place was overcrowded, obnoxious, poorly laid out, and full of the rudest club-goers I've ever come across. I was pushed, ignored and suffered a severe case of claustrophobia. I never made it to the bar so I can only imagine what the prices must have been. After several fruitless attempts to make my way to the first bar in the front, I tried making my way to the back of the second room but all I saw was a DJ booth (I'm told there was another bar in the back). That's when we looked at each other and unanimously said lets get out of here. i was highly annoyed at the poorly thought out floor plan of this place, the quantity of people in there was surely a fire hazard and I made it known to one of the managers when he had the gall to tell me Miami clubs are far more packed. Lesson of the day: Read rateclubs reviews before heading to "trendy" club in strange city. Cost of lesson: $20 (plus cab fare)

Weirdest place ever. But honestly, who doesn't secretly love carnie games? Especially the dunk tank. Also, the carnies can be bribed so the games are much less expensive than you originally think.
