I got in without a problem, but some of my other friends weren't even let through for some reason, and made them wait. Anyhow, its definitely the 'underground' club scene. I got a stamp earlier on, because of course you know if you come around 10:30pm its still going to be dead. Came back around 12:30 and it was beyond PACKED. Full of Asians, and the main dancing room was too crowded. It was a crowded, drunken, Asian invasion. There were other rooms (for VIP/seating) which had less people in there, but also was equip with a smaller bar. There was a photobooth located next to the stairs of exit/re-entry. That was a plus. Had a remote in which you can snap as you go, and print. There were two Asian girls dancing on stage next to DJ. (SEE PIC!) Super, super revealing outfit. (Okay, more like hooker outfit) but it kept everyone entertained and worked for them...I guess. DJ played good tunes, a mix of old school and current hits. Don't put your jacket or hop on stage. Security will come your way. Left half hour later after returning.
by M D. on I used to come here with friends on Tuesdays for ladies night. I am a fan of Lime because they have kick ass fish tacos and drinks. The last couple times that weve gone have been a little shady. The same Happy Hour bartender served us. I thought she was super cool and accomadating but when I saw that my card was charged extra the first time -- I thought "nah couldnt be--that bartender is cool." So we went back another time different week to give it another try. We tip CASH as most if not all service industry folks would prefer because we dont have to report it. ( I am still a bartender of 7 years and like this method better.) So we go back, tip cash as usual and what happens?! I go back home to see that an added $15 dollars was added to the credit card bill as tip. We left 15 in cash as tip and 5 dollars on the card as tip out of a $40 tab. we wanted to give her a total of $20 for being cool. (I'm not going to reveal which bartender it is cause all of Castro knows her) $20 is WAY more than what we were supposed to leave and she added another 15. Super fucked up. But again I like this place...just next time I will pay all in cash. My advice!!! Check your statements! To LIME Managers! Check your checkout statements and verify with the closed check amounts before letting your bartenders leave for the night. To LIME Bartender that fucked us twice: Youre cool...but hopefully you dont screw us again a third time.
by Florida Foody on I would have to say this place is not bad. . . I like it. Its got good seating arrangements, good wines (wished they had flights though), and hello, pate and raw oysters. They even had tabasco. Perfect way to win my heart. So I say, winner, winner, chicken dinner.
