Fetish Nation, brought to you by the indefatigable masterminds of Kontrolled Kaos, returns to Circus on March 5, 2011. Combine the most heavy, insane EBM music from the best DJ's downstairs, old school industrial/goth/alternative music upstairs, over-the-top fetish and S/M performances in the massive performance area, a gorgeous crowd, and you have the most awesome EBM/Industral/Fetish event in L.A. Oh, and did I mention that their sound system totally kicks? Best sound system of any EBM/Industral club (Das Bunker runs a close second). Huge space with said 3 areas, big outdoor patio, and open from 9-4. I don't know what we did to deserve such an incredible dark paradise, but thank you, Kontrolled Kaos promoters !!! Okay, other details. Parking is usually plentiful in the nearby lot, but costs $10 (street parking is hit or miss but usually is available in the neighborhood if you don't mind walking a bit). Make sure to bring a flier for reduced price of admission. Super friendly doorman who takes your ticket !!!!! Great start to an awesome evening. They also have a food vendor working out of a motorhome on the giant patio (mostly Mexican items on the menu). As if all of the above weren't enough, admission gets you access not only to Fetish Nation, but the mainstream club at Circus Disco which plays Trance. Yes, you can freely pass between the two clubs at your whim. Fetish Nation is the authentic, hardcore CyberGoth/EBM/Industrial and Fetish club happening on Saturday, March 5, 2011. Accept no substitutes :)

as we were visiting from california we wanted to have one night of the "real new york experience" we made dinner reservations for a party of 10 on a friday night at buddha bar... didn't have any problem making the reservations (2 wks in advance) and they didn't have any problem accommodating a few people we picked up during our trip... i appreciated that... the dinner was good, although our server seemed a little disappointed that we didn't go overboard with appetizers and desserts... we ate and drank well for 60 bucks a person, so that wasn't too bad... we headed over to the bar area for some more drinks and found the prices to be not so bad (i've had more expensive drinks in LA)... ended up leaving because it got too crowded and there wasn't anywhere to really stand/dance without being in the middle of a walkway....

I am all for Sports and Pool and even the occasional dance. Jillian's however, I am not down with. The servers were terrible and very rude. I expected better because the hostess was super nice and everyone looked satisfied. Boy I was wrong, all I wanted was to get my damn check, really how long does that take? The food wasn't that great either. .Like a really fancy Friday's. That's how I think of this place. I wouldn't go here unless you were forced to by threat of atomic wedgie.
