Okay, so I don't have to mention how delicious the Mexican Martinis are...I think that has been pretty well summed up below! I have always gone for the super delish and original stuffed avocado until my last trip when I opted for the enchilada plate. After I licked the plate of enchiladas clean, I decided I must go on a diet (of course, not until after I get in a little Freebirds, and some Magnolia Cafe, and maybe a little Amy's Ice cream...) Anyhow, I got a smoked brisket enchilada with queso sauce and a grilled chicken enchilada with suiza sauce. Yowza! These were right up there with the goodness of the Mexican Martini. Move over stuffed avocado, you've got competition!

as we were visiting from california we wanted to have one night of the "real new york experience" we made dinner reservations for a party of 10 on a friday night at buddha bar... didn't have any problem making the reservations (2 wks in advance) and they didn't have any problem accommodating a few people we picked up during our trip... i appreciated that... the dinner was good, although our server seemed a little disappointed that we didn't go overboard with appetizers and desserts... we ate and drank well for 60 bucks a person, so that wasn't too bad... we headed over to the bar area for some more drinks and found the prices to be not so bad (i've had more expensive drinks in LA)... ended up leaving because it got too crowded and there wasn't anywhere to really stand/dance without being in the middle of a walkway....
