The only reason i did not give Drais Hollywood a five is because it is uber hard to get into. Wednesday and Saturdays are there busiest nights, so if you don't have connections from within you wont get in. This is an amazing venue, with a poolside that honestly resembles Vegas. Music is top 40 type stuff. The crowd is beautiful the men are older and prey on young hotties. You do not need to buy a table to enjoy this place, there is so much to do. The bathroom set up is great! Huge bathrooms with a lot of stalls inside. The inside has breathtaking views of the city and the decor is big and bold like Vegas.

Took my girlfriend to Woodfire Grill on V-Day Weekend 2010. She was a big fan of Kevin and Top Chef. First off, the wine selection was great. We ordered a typical 3 course meal. The first course, the salad was the weakest part for me. There was nothing wrong with it, I just found it to have very little taste. The main course was the high point. I ordered the beef loin, and it was phenomenal! The beef was served with an assortment of mushrooms. My girlfriend ordered the pork loin, and it was also phenomenal. The third course, the deserts were also very excellent. We had the lemon meringue pie and the carrot cake. The atmosphere and decor of Woodfire Grill was also excellent. As one of the other reviewers said, Woodfire Grill is one of those places you just have to trust your taste buds to the chef. I would defiantly recommend Woodfire Grill to anyone that wanted to be a little adventurous and try some new stuff.

I always feel like I'm never hip enough for this place-you know, my bangs don't sweep to the side enough, not enough neon, I don't have old school ray bans, or any artist friends- but come to think of it- I've had fun the 3 times I've been here. I LOVE (and who wouldn't), their Friday happy hour, $5 cover gets you open Peroni beer and Fernet shots for an hour. The bar gets a little crazy for this open bar hour 5-6 or 6-7, you'll have to check out the SF Weekly or Guardian to find exact times, they mix it around sometimes. And I think if you come early there are also free appetizers. The bartenders are nice too, which is surprising for an open bar place where a lot of people decide not to tip cause its a free drink (don't do this!). I'll be back again, I just have to be ready for recovery the next day.
