It had been years since I came here, and I must say that time has been good to Bowlmor. Granted, the last time I came here I don't remember showing my ID or that there was even a velvet rope with doormen but whatever. Quite frankly, I can do without all the bells and whistles of places like this. But since this is a tourist trap and a light at the end of the (Holland) tunnel for the B&T'ers I really shouldn't complain. But let's face facts: I don't care about the glow in the dark pins, or the 2,323 TV screens or the live DJ or the signed pins by celebrities or the waitresses that look like they're on loan from 1942 Actually, i do love the waitresses because they do look like they're on loan from 1942, and they were so attentive to our group. And I liked that the lanes weren't as narrow as the lanes at Gutter, so it was rather easy for me to curve the ball. But I'm a simple man with simple needs when it comes to bowling. All I need are balls, and lots of them. Bowling balls too.

EDIT: I don't like this place AT ALL. Let it be known my previous review (based on my first experience here) was a 4 out of 5. However I've gone here multiple times since there and it's just gotten lamer and lamer. First I don't like that the bartenders are NOT quick when I walk in. I tend to come early here and it's always empty when I go, yet they are too busy chitchatting with the only other 2 people in the entire bar (most likely their friends) that they actually have the nerve to make you wait for your drink. IN A FREAKIN' EMPTY BAR, ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! Second, the music is absolute crap. The first time I was really drunk...and granted the music seemed OK...some oldschool rap tunes. Which after awhile began to feel like I was in middle school again and at one of those cheesy dances. The novelty and nostalgia has worn off. I walk in and there will maybe be 5 or so people dancing and a few people at the bar tops. (An ugly crowd to boot.) This place is dead all the time because they need to liven it up with some better DJs. Third, I sometimes enjoy the ever-so-popular vodka-redbull combo. It's not completely uncommon to come across a bar that will replace the redbull with rockstar. (or something of the like) I have no idea what they use here, he said it was "diet" whatever and OH HELL NO IT'S NOT DIET. This is the most sugary/disgusting drink I've ever tasted in my life. It's was painful to swallow. I reluctantly finished it as fast as I could and moved on. In conclusion: 1-Get some better bartenders (Or have the current work on service skills.) 2-Get some better DJs for the love of god... (The DJs could single handedly sink this bar.) 3-Work on on tastier drinks (I highly recommend investing in a better energy drink to mix for your wannabe vodka-redbull.)
