by Dane Fecher on First off, you need to go into Saint with these expectations: - there will be a cover (unless you get there before 10:30) - the music will be loud, consisting of top 40 hits - the drinks will be expensive (it's not a pub) - the people will be the same crowd you find at any other club I really wasn't looking forward to going here. In fact, I think if I had arrived sober here I would have been in a foul mood the whole night. But a bunch of us took some liquid cocaine shots beforehand so it made me loosen up a bit... er a lot :) Getting there before 10:30 is probably the best thing you can do. It's just not worth it to pay the $15 cover. And even though there are not a ton of people inside once you get there, you'll wish you had that space 2 hours later when you can barely get to the bar for a drink or dance. But people will always find a way to dance in such a crowded place. Also, kudos to them for free coat check. They're pretty strict about belligerent drunks. Which is probably a good thing... A girlfriend of mine accidentally took someone's drink at the bar, somehow a glass fell, and next thing we know the bartender is pointing her out to a bouncer while she's trying to scamper off. I felt bad for her cause I don't think she meant any harm but alas, she was kicked out. So hold your liquor people!
by Angela S. on Really laid back bar. Pool, good jukebox, cheap drinks. Everyone's really nice. I came here on NYE...weird I know. But it was great. My friends were having a party here and so it wasn't sceney or crowded or overpriced...like most NYE parties. I've come a few other times randomly and I love that there's always seats... I know I'm lazy but I'm usually wearing heels :)
