by Georgann Postin on First let me start off by saying that I'm not from Atlanta, but do travel there for business. There was a period where I was there 2 weeks in a row and within those 2 weeks I managed to take 2 different clients there for dinner. Why? Because it's just that good. Not being from the south, I obviously want to take advantage of my short time there to eat some good ole' southern cooking and sure enough you'll get it here. The menu isn't short of grits, shrimp, mac n cheese, collard greens or friend chicken...so if you're also looking for the fixins' no problem, they've got them covered too. Both times I visited, I had the Fried Green Tomatoes as an appetizer and for someone who has been dying to try it - they didn't disappoint. I've had the Fried Chicken and the Scallops dish - both were equally fantastic and I definitely licked every last drip on my plate. Sadly, the apps and main courses filled me up too much that dessert was not an option. However, based on the rest of my meal I can only assume that they are heavenly.
by Edythe Pellegrin on Great place for people who want commercial jazz and a nice glass of wine. Def. recommend advance sale tickets and be prepared to sit across from your date as part of their 'rules' for seating. Absolutely not for the claustrophobic or cheap.
by Bettina H. on One of the most ridiculous and funnest nights in NY. 3 girls, 1 guy, 1 bottle of goose, 1 bottle of cristal. We killed it all despite having a bunch of drinks during dinner. Don't remember the music but I liked most of the songs. I liked the smoking area in the back because its a little room and it's not in front of the club. Warning: Door super strict. I asked if the door guy would let my friends in who came later in the night and he said no despite having a table. My friend who had the table tried to give him a tip (he has a black amex so the tip was really generous). That didn't work. Either get a table or get there early, trying to meet up your friends later won't work. Pro: Jay Z, Nicky Hilton, Brandon Davis and a few others were all there that night. A lot of hot girls. Door strict is also a pro, they just don't let anyone in! "we pop cristal likes its water"
