Outstanding. Went with a "old" friend with a healthy appetite. She had been there before and loved it. No reservation, restaurant week, booked to the gills. We sat comfortably at the bar and ate dinner. The bartenders were great. Don't know how to say "NO". If we wanted it, they got it. My friend hinted an interest in a different drink and the bartender made her a small one to try. No whipped cream when we wanted dessert, the barteder made some for us. Hard working team. Food was great. We had 3 appetizers, all great. Dinners were excellent, I had the lobster and friend had the sea bass. Both were just perfect. Had the big fortune cookie with ice cream dessert (with the bartender made fresh whipped cream), very good. Pricey, but hey, it is a BIG place. GREAT service. GREAT FOOD. I'm going back

I've gone to Bimbo's to see Pinback and Yeasayer and it's now my favorite venue evar! I love the old Hollywood feel of it and the hilarious lady in the bathroom who yells at girls after they pee on the toilet seat.

We watched the dinner show. Fun burlesque, but I guess the earlier shows aren't as risque as the later ones. I'm glad we did get a chance to watch, but I could see how it'd lose it's charm going back. Yah, I come from the land o' 1:30am last calls, but man... $17 for a well vodka drink? It was strong for sure, but good thing I'm a cheap date, cuz I can see how easy it'd be to take a HELOC on a night out.
