by Macie Lois on Ima keep this short and perhaps not so sweet. 1.I don't get the buzz about the mac n cheese. It's wasn't macaroni and it wasn't good. 2. The brussel sprouts were awesome - we scraped the little cast iron skillet clean. 3. The tuna was served on an elevated wood platform that we named the "tuna bridge" because we had to pass the pork skewers underneath it because there was not enough room on the table for both tuna and pork even though this place has a bunch of small plates (that should fit on the table together.) Pork was AWESOME. 4. The place looks a bit unclean/untidy (?) during day time hours. 5. Service was spot on. 6. Looks like the thing to do is make reservations in a 4+ group to get the seats that aren't right next together.

It's a really neat place inside...1920s theme with black n white movies showing on the walls, live jazz on certain nights, waiters and waitresses all dress in that era. The decor alone is worth coming to check out. Their happy hour is A-okay. Certain drinks are discounted by a couple bucks and the food prices stay the same (~$9 for fries!!!). Though they do give you a $1 cocktail ticket for happy hour. It'll buy you whatever drink the bartender chose as the drink special for that night, last time I went it was like a whiskey sour of sorts. Real cool place to catch up with a friend or friends, not so much a place to pick up on chicks or guys really. It's a sophisticated lounge with a hip and fun old time flair.
by Bettina H. on One of the most ridiculous and funnest nights in NY. 3 girls, 1 guy, 1 bottle of goose, 1 bottle of cristal. We killed it all despite having a bunch of drinks during dinner. Don't remember the music but I liked most of the songs. I liked the smoking area in the back because its a little room and it's not in front of the club. Warning: Door super strict. I asked if the door guy would let my friends in who came later in the night and he said no despite having a table. My friend who had the table tried to give him a tip (he has a black amex so the tip was really generous). That didn't work. Either get a table or get there early, trying to meet up your friends later won't work. Pro: Jay Z, Nicky Hilton, Brandon Davis and a few others were all there that night. A lot of hot girls. Door strict is also a pro, they just don't let anyone in! "we pop cristal likes its water"
