Sometimes it's hard to write a review after going to a place once because you could hit it on a really good or really bad day or you might happen to order a great dish or lousy dish. I was with two others and my brother has been there a number of times so I'm pretty confident with this assessment. The inside made me feel like I was in the South, or at least not in LA. It seemed like someone went to a bunch of flea markets or garage sales or antique stores and then decorated. With that said, they did a great job and pulled it off and gave it a really good feel. Ironically, I went downstairs and I did feel like it was something I'd find in LA! ;) Let's get to the important part: food. I had the green tomato benedict. It's hard to say anything but 'delicious'! I think it had the right amount of different tastes that made this dish so satisfying. Coming to ATL, I was itching for some good grits so I requested grits rather than hash browns. I could arguably say that was the best decision I made all weekend! I probably could have ordered just a plate of grits... I'm not an expert on this specific dish but I do know it rocked my world. It was fantastic! My brother had the other benedict (Parish benedict I think) and it was okay but maybe I just wasn't in the mood for the beef, which I felt dominated the dish. However, he loved it and I can't say it was bad b/c it was really good just not what I would have chosen (obviously!). I did feel like the service was lacking. Our waiter was either a rookie or was clueless- we're still debating. It was painful at times but I could excuse this as everyone else around us seemed to get good service with their waiters and the host was unbelievable. Overall, without a question I would recommend this place for brunch!

I had a great time here. The staff are so sweet and try to be as accommodating as possible. My friends and I were giggling and making fun of the funny shaped candles in the middle of every table (you'll understand once you see for yourself), and our waiter definitely enhanced our fun time. The food and drinks are delicious. They aren't stingy about putting in a good amount of alcohol in their cocktails, and their food portions are bigger than we expected. For an upscale restaurant, the prices were surprisingly low - we had cocktails, 2 appetizers, and 4 entrees for less than $200 (can you believe that?). One thing I really liked was that the food came out with plenty of time between courses. We ate comfortably and at a kinda slow pace because we were talking a lot, but never once did we feel like any of the staff were rushing us to leave. Like I said before, they were really wonderful. Inside, there is a lively atmosphere. It's not too loud though, and we could carry on our conversations comfortably. We saw diners dressed in jeans and/or sandals, so I think you can wear whatever you want. It's a great place. Don't let other people try to tell you that it's overpriced. If you know how to appreciate fine dining and know what to expect from most restaurants at that level, you'll agree it's definitely reasonable and totally worth it.

Went here on a Saturday and heard they were charging something ridiculous like $50 cover that night because will.i.am was spinning. I had a stamp on my wrist from Slide next door (free cover) and found that the two stamps actually look quite similar. We flashed our Slide stamps at the bouncer and we were in. The place is huge with a large stage and a sizable balcony area overlooking the main dance floor. I had a good time (will.i.am did a good job that night), but I would say the vibe there makes it a place that's good to go with a group of friends, rather than a place to make new friends. They are supposed to have some good acts bc it's one of the largest venues in SF. I definitely wouldn't go for $50, but $20 or free? Probably worth checking out...
