I went here for brunch and really enjoyed it. The must have item is the Bloody Mary. I'm usually a mimosa girl but I tried my friends' bloody mary and it was to die for. Super spicy. I had the fried tomato BLT to eat, which they also serve downstairs in the market. It was good, could have used some more bacon and remoulade sauce. I was hoping for lots of bacon as I read on Soutmob that the owner is a big bacon fanatic- even has bacon tattoos. So I was a bit disappointed with my one, slim slice of bacon on my BLT. Looking forward to going again for brunch and trying one of the breakfast items. I am also looking forward to trying dinner here as the menu looks very yummy. I love the "TV Dinner" option, that includes meat, veg, carb, and even a dessert. Such a cute idea.

We'd only been to the bar before for drinks and appetizers, so when some visiting family requested an evening at Morimoto, I jumped at the chance for an excuse to go and was on opentable pronto! We hit the bar first and had some of the loveliest cocktails I've had anywhere. And trust me, I'm someone who has tried some pretty amazing cocktails! :) Try the lotus blossom or the white peach for something really unique and delicious. Bargain-hunters: happy hour at the bar upstairs 5-7pm has plenty of $6 cocktails and affordable apps! The four of us shared lobster skewers, a california roll (with the crispiest cukes ever) and delicate, tender tempura calamari. We ended up deciding to try the $80 omakase. Yes, we probably should have decided that before ordering the apps! hee But it was fabulous. The courses kept coming, from the first tuna tartare through two more cold dishes, 2 hot, a sushi course, and ending in a lovely dessert. Service was helpful, unobtrusive and attentive. The only problem was one cocktail was swept away too soon when it wasn't finished! It was a memorable evening for four foodies. I'm interested in going back to order some of the a la carte items and definitely will be back to enjoy the happy hour.

Great venue, nice intimate room with great acoustics. The obnoxious smart aleck maitre'd really ruins the experience though. You know who I'm talking about, the old guy with the glasses. I'm surprised that no one has decked this clown yet. 5 stars for the venue 0 stars for Bozo.
