This place has an awesome vibe. If you want a cool date place, this is it. I have entertained guests from London and LA, and everyone loves it. They only use organic ingredients. I am not a cocktail drinker, but I am told by several female friends -- THIS IS AMAZING. I can comment on their great selection of beers and wines. If you want to show Austin's limited sophisticated scene - this is it.

When I was 16, I couldn't wait to go clubbing. Don't even ask me how many fake ids I've had confiscated in my lifetime. By the time I hit 21, I was tired of the whole club scene. I hated the thought of going to an overly crowded, large club that charged way too much to get in. Instead, I found myself wanting to go to small, hole-in-the-wall underground house music clubs and for a few years, that's where you'd find me. Now I'm 27 and I have been finding myself at big clubs once again. Ahh... the cycle of life... Last weekend, Benny Benassi was spinning at Ruby Skye at the official POP afterparty. Since mingling with 16 year olds at raves is absolutely the last thing I would want to do, EVAR, we skipped POP and came straight to Ruby Skye. I was amazed when I walked in. Are my eyes deceiving me? Clean red carpet? Furniture that has been taken care of? Clean bathrooms? Seriously? No, I was not mistaken. The owners/managers of this place have taken care of the interior very well. It didn't reek of alcohol/vomit/sex or any of the usual funk that you smell at a club. The floors were clean. The bathrooms as well. The venue is one of the largest that I've seen in SF, if not the largest. It's great that they actually take good care of the place too. Security was good, but not all up in your face like some other places. It was easy to move from the downstairs to the upstairs using the staircase. There were 2 big bathrooms and the line went pretty quick. Plenty of VIP tables with service too. My only complaint about this place is that there isn't enough general seating/resting areas. There was only one section that I saw, which was on the 2nd floor by the bathrooms. There was enough seating for about 10 people. This venue has a lot of blank wall space that would be great for bench seating. Just a tip! And I have a message to all you club goers out there. When you release bodily gas through your many orifices, please remember that other people can and will smell it. No one wants to smell the falafel wrap with extra yogurt sauce that you consumed before dinner, so if you need to release those gases, please do so in a corner (or bathroom) away from people!!! Also, I know it's not in some peoples usual routine to wear deodorant, but if you are going to a club and you don't want to wear deodorant, don't wear a thick long sleeve shirt and thick cotton undershirt and then dance AND SWEAT your ass off and flail your arms around like a chimpanzee. No one wants to smell that funk. And regardless of what you may think, IT DOES SMELL.

Le Club is amazing! It's an upscale place with an awesome bartender, Matthew, who pours great drinks! Not to mention, he was very accommodating as we were there planning my friend's birthday party. We rented out the place and everyone had a great time! I was really impressed with the layout of the card room, billiard room and bar area. We had plenty of room for the guests and Le Club was okay with us having a Comedian and Musician to entertain the crowd. Le Club is a must for Private parties!!
