by Paulita Deshaies on We order takeout here, weekly! I LOVE their brisket, and the girl's a fan of the turkey breast plate. Always good food!! The sides are homemade and the BBQ sauce is SPOT ON. (Plus the prices are reasonable) The people have always been nice to me. Once we went and they were having a party in the back with some sick sick jazz improv musicians wailing on it. Very epic. Their slogan: "It is what it is" yeah. damn good barbeque. stop hatin you soco weirdos!
by Bethel Thoroughgood on The food is neither great nor terrible, but because it is such an institution, it really is a must visit. Don't expect fine cuisine, but get a frosted orange to wash down whatever food you choose to consume and you'll be OK. You should probably get the onion rings, too.
by Tiffany C. on Went for opening night and had fun. Dark purple/black inside, spinning DJs, and old fashion-inspired cocktails - this place has it's place amongst the bars in SOMA. Fancier than most, and a bit NYC-esque. Give it a few weeks to get some momentum then go check it out.
