This place is definitely hyped up and made out to be much more than it actually is. Certainly not "Boston's best nightclub" like it claims to be. I've been here three times for birthday parties and other events, and the DJs are very hit or miss. One time the music was decent, but the other two times the person spinning mashed up songs that should never be mixed or played together. The crowd thinks that they're better looking and richer than they actually are and the beer selection is TERRIBLE-I mean, c'mon, no Bud? Bud Light? Coors Light? Sam Adams? Blue Moon? Stella? Any typical bar/nightclub beer? No, all they serve is Amstel Light, Heineken Light, and BUSCH LITE. Yes, you're reading this correctly. They charge $7 a beer for the tasteless dribble that could be bought at a liquor store for $6 for a 6-pack. And what is up with the Asian half naked Lady GaGa wannabe dancers? Creepy. But not as creepy as the two giant pink bears dancing on the stage and snapping pics with people around the club. If I wanted to be overcharged to hang out with immature beings and men dressed in smelly fur costumes, I would have gone to Chuck E. Cheese.

I think this place is fun. I first came here at the age of 19 (last summer). I'm 20 now. I went alone just to get a feel of the place before bringing my buds, and it was not too bad. When I first got there, there were lights and on the ceiling and floor and what not. There were people already there dancing. I got there early so it was not crowded. It was ladies night. As the time went on, more and more people came and it got tight. Some guy bought me a drink and flirted w/ me all night. Lol, I was pretty much weirded out at first but decided to have fun. Danced with a few guys and then went home later. I will say this. If you are going to the club nights: BRING FRIENDS. Not really for the safety issue (as that is important too) but more because of the fun issue. It is better to go with a crew and have fun then. Me, my girlfriend and friends will be hitting it up this Thursday. Maybe it's because I'm young, but I find Webster Hall to be a fun night out. I like the young college crowd as I am in that crowd. But, there are people of all ages there. But, note that any ladies 19 and 20 years of age must pay 10 dollars all night. Any ladies 21+ are free free free But yeah, Webster Hall is not a bad place. Drinks could be stronger but whatevs. I just love dancing and acting a fool and having fun. Laughing and chillen w/ friends. I don't go to get drunk. Good luck, have fun and bring your homies.
