by Sulema Rann on My Oh My. I have to repeat what another rateclubser mentioned. Now this is where all the hot men are going.. but damn, they're all gay. I had no idea this place had a rep for being a "gay bar". The hubby and I were looking for a place to catch brunch in Dorchester. I did a quick brunch search on rateclubs on my phone and the Dbar popped up. We stopped in and got a table pretty quickly. The brunch menu isn't big but they have some yummy food on it. I ordered the eggs benedict and the hubs had the french toast. While waiting for the food I was looking around and noticed something funny. There were some cute guys in this place. Yes, I was with my husband but I can enjoy the view can't I? I then noticed the men were with other men. It all popped into my head. Ahhhh yesss.. they also enjoy the view of men. The food was good, prices were great, service was friendly and quick. Would I come here again.. Yes OH Yes!!
by Jamie S. on Didn't eat here, but had a few drinks at the bar. The bartenders are a lot of fun and there's plenty of people watching opportunities. Although I didn't eat the food, it looked delicious. All in all a good time and great place to get some face time.
by Minta Wiggens on It's time for me to jump on the bandwagon and drop a compliment for this place. It hasn't failed me yet. Most recently brought a friend here who loved it. We got there early enough on Thursday evening after work (i.e. late afternoon) that we could casually walk across and find a nice lil table spot up on top. It was not the case going down for refills and eventually walking out - way too much body heat and toe stepping that go with these overcrowded places... But, as long as you expect all that, it's worth it on a nice night.
