by Norman Ebesu on I have been to STK in both Miami and New York and loved both. For starters, it's a great atmosphere. Loud music and extremely trendy. Food is amazing. As an appetizer I have tried the filet carpaccio (special of the night) and the beef tartare. I would absolutely recommend both! As an entree, I have only tried the filet which was very, very good. (I would recommend the STK and the STK bold sauces to go along with it) Sides are quite yummy as well- mac and cheese is a must try! All in all this is a fun place for date or with a group of friends. (Although I would not recommend for a first date as it is a quite loud so conversation is a little tough at times)
by Madeleine B. on Got into this place because my friend pretended to know the bouncer. And the DJ. A little kindness goes a long way... It was super nice, great music, beautiful people. Somehow we got into the DJ booth and spent the night dancing, drinking, and laughing. Everyone who worked there was so nice and it was a great night.
by Dwain Caison on Okay so a friend warned me about this place... mainly the crowd was "FUGGG." But, me and my other friends had never been here before, and real talk the place doesn't look bad on their website. The club itself honestly isn't even that nice. The outside patio area looks decent, but the inside dance floor looks cheap and cheezy with the smokiness and lights. But damn Jane, you were right, crowd is sooo bad. I felt like I was in The Hills Have Eyes. Maybe they use the smoke to cover people's faces? Idk, but never again. On the other hand, our promoter gave us a free drink card. That was the highlight of the night, besides being preyed on by short ugly people. LOL this one guy was super persistent with my friend, but she's too nice to tell him to go away. So I was buzzin and I was like "hey can you leave her alone now?" but he was still standing there like I was mean-joking with him. And so I said, "I'm not joking." LOL it had to come to this! DJ was okay. Wasn't horrible, but heard better. ALSO... only available and near parking was valet. $20?!?! Come on, not worth it for this place!
