by Salome Rokos on My first time here was for my friend's bday dinner. It wasn't good enough for me to give it a second shot; had their crispy orange chicken. However, the setting of this place gave it a second chance. I am surprised that it is completely different compared to my first. Maybe it was just a bad day for the chef. This time I had the Wasabi Crusted filet mignon; definitely a great choice.
by Alex P. on I've never bowled over an 82, so to say that bowling isn't my thing would be an understatement. But I "liked" Bowlmor Lanes.....(sarcasm) I came here on a Saturday night because my friend's girlfriend wanted to go bowling, so I tagged along. Little did I know that on Saturday nights there is a $5 cover just to get into the damn place, as if it were a strip club. I half-expected to see naked women bowling. The bowling lanes were dark and neon-lit like a laser tag, which was cool because I walked in here really drunk and the last thing I wanted was bright lights in my face. I'll give it a star for that. My friends went to get shoes and play a few games. I would've joined in if it wasn't for the alcohol, but thank God I didn't. The shoes cost $6 to rent and the games cost $20 per person. I decided that I would just head to the bar and get a few more drinks in me only to find out that drinks are 10+ dollars. No thanks... Oh yeah, the seats here are pretty comfy. I think I passed out for a couple of frames so I'm going to give this place another star for that. Advice: Bring money. Lots of it. Don't expect to leave with any.
by Yuriko Starcic on I think this place is fun. I first came here at the age of 19 (last summer). I'm 20 now. I went alone just to get a feel of the place before bringing my buds, and it was not too bad. When I first got there, there were lights and on the ceiling and floor and what not. There were people already there dancing. I got there early so it was not crowded. It was ladies night. As the time went on, more and more people came and it got tight. Some guy bought me a drink and flirted w/ me all night. Lol, I was pretty much weirded out at first but decided to have fun. Danced with a few guys and then went home later. I will say this. If you are going to the club nights: BRING FRIENDS. Not really for the safety issue (as that is important too) but more because of the fun issue. It is better to go with a crew and have fun then. Me, my girlfriend and friends will be hitting it up this Thursday. Maybe it's because I'm young, but I find Webster Hall to be a fun night out. I like the young college crowd as I am in that crowd. But, there are people of all ages there. But, note that any ladies 19 and 20 years of age must pay 10 dollars all night. Any ladies 21+ are free free free But yeah, Webster Hall is not a bad place. Drinks could be stronger but whatevs. I just love dancing and acting a fool and having fun. Laughing and chillen w/ friends. I don't go to get drunk. Good luck, have fun and bring your homies.
