by Rachele Yancy on Ima keep this short and perhaps not so sweet. 1.I don't get the buzz about the mac n cheese. It's wasn't macaroni and it wasn't good. 2. The brussel sprouts were awesome - we scraped the little cast iron skillet clean. 3. The tuna was served on an elevated wood platform that we named the "tuna bridge" because we had to pass the pork skewers underneath it because there was not enough room on the table for both tuna and pork even though this place has a bunch of small plates (that should fit on the table together.) Pork was AWESOME. 4. The place looks a bit unclean/untidy (?) during day time hours. 5. Service was spot on. 6. Looks like the thing to do is make reservations in a 4+ group to get the seats that aren't right next together.

Top FLR is my secret gem in Atlanta - off the beaten path (Most people dont even know its there), GREAT food, Yummy Drinks, Wonderful Ambiance, Never Overly crowded and the Best Service. The food is yummy and not expensive, the drinks are creative and full of variety and all of the staff is friendly ad full of personality. I had my birthday here this year and it was PERECT! Low Key, comfortable, accommodating AND our waiter split all of the checks with no attitude and a smile. Some of my fav dishes are the Hangar Steak with the Crispy Spaetzle, Shiitake Mushroom, Caper Lemons and the Tuna Tartar is ORGASMIC. True Story I heart you Top Flr, you always leave a smile on my face.
by Brenna Tarpley on What the heck happened to this gem of a restaurant?!? I can only assume that the chef took his/her show on the road. Formerly stellar juicy burgers and oozingly moist french toast are now desiccated tasteless pucks. Marry that with lackadaisical service and JB's finds it's new residence on the formerly great list. Too bad. One star because it used to be awesome. One star because it wasn't quite putrid.
