Went there Thurs night around 9pm for dinner/drinks and had a great time. The place was half empty, but the atmosphere felt very relaxed and the interior is beautiful. The drinks were reasonable ($26 for a pitcher of sangria) and the entrees were super good esp Chile Rellenos. Our waitress was a total doll and very attentive. The mechanical bull is sort of in a weird spot in the corner. During dinner no one was biting, but as it got later a small crowd gathered around and people started taking rides. Which is always funny to watch.

Every so often I re-discover this place and then I think, now WHY did I stop coming here? Its great. You cannot, in my opinion, get a GREAT martini (think strong, tasty and big) for $8 anywhere else in this city. At least not while surrounded by a wonderful mix of people, in a very sexy little joint. I have never hung out in the back where they have the piano and music going, but I love the lighting and sexiness of the bar up front. Its a nice place to go with a date for a drink. Sexy lighting, good drinks, nice bartenders . . . what more could one want :) Week nights are my favorite here because it gets a little too crowded on the weekends for me. I gotta try the the music room in the back soon! Be careful . . . its easy to drink too much here. I've heard.

We all know the spiel, great music, great drinks, great atmosphere, great dancing, great cover prices. This location is very straight, bi, and gay friendly people friendly, it just one big underground dance party (circa the underground rave parties of the 90's, without the visible drugs etc). This is an awesome place to have a friendly competitive dance off if you are a big sweaty dancer like I am. The only down fall, there aren't many urinals/toilets to pee out your booze, but no worries, the MJQ experience totally trumps the lack of potties. Oh yeah, parking kinda bites, but I digress, no need to be a Debbie Downer for such an awesome place. I can't wait to go back!
