My boyfriend and I were having drinks at the bar/minding our own business when a really catty waitress came up to us and demanded the stool my boyfriend was sitting on. She passed up about 20 people sitting around the bar to target us and when we asked her why, she barked that seats around the bar are not guaranteed (even though there are no posted signs saying "we can demand your seat at any time" + hinting we didn't pay enough for the seats--ignoring the fact we were being charged $13 a pop and actually ordering drinks rather than just sitting there). She threatened either we gave her the stool or she was calling security. SHE WAS A TOTAL JERK and basically on an ego trip, handing out ultimatums and trying to bully us. When security came they basically agreed with us, but still defended she was justified to treat a customer that way. Really a bad choice and we left. We really enjoyed the bartender's service and the drinks were great, but the waitresses are really into themselves and need a lesson in customer service. She was a complete jerk to us for no apparent reason.

A new take on yet another steak house. It's your standard steak house with a bar and lounge scene. Seems to me they're trying to do too many thing and not concentrating on doing one thing well. We had a reservation for 9pm. We arrived at 8:45 and weren't seated until almost 10pm. They tell you to sit at the bar and have "A DRINK" . Well if you wait for an hour you're going to have more than "A Drink". I guess that how they get you to spend more money. The crowd was pretty cool and trendy. A lot of Wall Street type d-bags, but a couple generally cool people. Glad I went. Doubt I'll be back.

4 stars for the sky terrace 2.5 stars for the rest of the lounge The music is alright, I wouldn't come here to dance. I would recommend Medjools on warm SF nights to enjoy the rooftop bar.
