They have a great selection of beers, the food is greasy but good as far as bar food goes, and the bartenders are super nice if you are, and super mean to those who deserve it. I would, however, suggest to visit this wonderful bar during off hours, or when school isn't in session. Since it's right off the South St. Bridge, it tends to get a younger, obnoxious crowd on weekend nights. I'm not even sure why kids choose Grace of all places to come to; you would think they would go to some crap Irish bar, or a place that has massive man-imals as bouncers. It's very apparent that the bartenders aren't happy about that relationship either, which only makes me love the place that much more. Still, Grace gets four stars for it's comfortable feel, great bartenders, and nice selection of beers. Side note: Find out whenever Reese or Lulu is bartending... go, and you're guaranteed to have a good time.
by Freddy S. on After going here several times I never wrote a review yet! Yes Procrastinator I definitely am!! Went here for the 1st time on my b-day, and it was a cracking night!! This place was packed but not uncomfortable packed just right. I emailed them and Mark took care of me, I definitely recommend him or Rebecca. I ended up popping 5 bottles and got 3 champagne bottles for free, + i got offered Fajitas and fancy dessert smores! Sold me on that already! LOL. Arriving there I met up with Rebecca which she definitely took care of me and all my guest, and now me and her our homies ;-) I had no issues with letting anyone in, they were soo helpful and nice not like other dick head door man at other Hollywood spots. Overall I had a blast on my b-day!! I went there several other times, and since Rebecca and I are so cool she always hooks me up! The display and ambiance is elegant and very well put together. Performance is cool and sometimes they have free Tacos! cmon free tacos and from a real taco lady! Legit!
by Jeremy W. on The one and only time I'll ever be here was for a Six Feet Under premiere party. The 4th season debut. The problem I have with Six Feet Under is that the 1st season was just fecking perfect. The stripper funeral, the gangbanger and Michael just talking, Claire on meth. Classic stuff, just made for the time capsule. Great, great art. Then after the 2nd Season everything shifts. Talking dead people get shoehorned out to make room for Brenda's bucknuts family, Rico's homelife and the further dysfunction of the Fishers. Talking dead people were the only thing keeping the show from being yet another crummy soap opera (albeit a better written and acted one). They brought a Twilight Zone angle to the show where you had to wonder if the dead actually were there in the room or if the Fishers were all hallucinating and thus certifiable. A sublime hook! But from there on it was just an endless stream of deceit, bland drama, infidelity, bad street drugs and sex with the unsuitable. Much like poor old, dumb old Ruby Skye. Only without the great 1st season.
