by Delorse Dieffenbacher on Interesting experience...from the name I would guess that the theme was some sort of Incan/Polynesian era-gone-by kind of thing, and when you enter you see this futuristic halo and some cool décor. Down in the basement is where the action happens because apparently this is one of the few places in SF where it's still bumpin even after 2AM. They close out around 3:30AM. The music is pretty much all heavy hip hop/rap and I get the feeling people are mostly there to dance, dance, dance. Which we did, with abandon.

by Larry L. on The only real reason I see going here is the setting - it looks cool. I went here with a party of 10 and we got to sit by the big Buddha. The table was cool b/c it had a glass top over a pool of water that contained rose petals and candles floating on it. Overall, it was a pretty impressive setting. But the food was nothing to write home about. We had some a mixed dessert plate and they brought out chocolate Buddhas. Now, I'm not a Buddhist but isn't eating a chocolate Buddha a bit offensive? You'd never see a restaurant offering chocolate crosses or a chocolate baby Jesus would you?
