We had the urge to dance, but it was already past 3am. Reluctant to write off the Saturday night as a loss, we thought of the one place we knew was open for sure and played good music... Endup. So we said f*ck it and drove all the way up to SF from San Jose. When we got there it was still dark, but we could hear the music bumping from the outside, and waited in a short line to get in. After getting it out of our system, we decided to leave. By then, the sun was already out. Surprisingly, the line outside was longer at 7am than it was when we got there. We drove back home under the sunrise. It's a good place with good music. People don't judge here. All kinds of people and all kinds of dancers.
by Deshawn Dunnahoo on Pros: No cover, mixed crowd, extensive champagne list, DARK (it's a good thing, trust me) Cons: Pricey drinks, hideous people, stuck up women, ugly dorky men, dancefloor area downstairs is actually a closet/sauna. I've gone here on a few occasions when I felt like a change of scenery and it's always been on a Saturday. Please tell me why old ugly men feel the need to be allll decked out flossin full on suits? Ok I get it, you think you're fancy. Whoopty doo. You look like an ass to me. Sidenote: It's an ok place to sit and sip drinks, definitely not a place to dance or get rowdy with your friends... but maybe that's just cause I'm young. =)
by kathy t. on Beer=good. Burgers, sausage sandwiches=good. Fries= sometimes incredibly good and crispy and straight out of the deep fryer with a little spicy kick from the spicy dust and the remoulade dippy stuff, sometimes limp, soggy and barely warm, or overly salty and covered in so much spicy salt that I'm going into sodium overload. Why?! This inconsistency makes me sad b/c I want to love them all the time.
