by Jake T. on Nick's is the place to be on a tuesday evening. Me and 13 of my friends were here last night having a blast. I use to eat their other tacos such as the carne asada, or chicken, or etc for $2 on tuesday, but after eating the famous Crispy fish taco, i couldn't let myself eat the other ones. i always order 2 fried fish tacos and i would be full. The crowd here is crazy, $2.50 beers and $3 patron shot will bring any party animal into this place. Everytime i come here on a tuesday, the line is wrapped around the restaurant. Although that is a bad thing, there are bartenders that walk around and serve you your alcohol as you wait. You can also shake your ass while you wait too because there is live DJ every Tuesday. 1 star for the fish tacos 1 star for the live DJ 1 star for the cheap alcohol 1 star for great vibe. -1 star for being too packed. add that up and you get 4 stars!
by Eugene H. on Went on a Saturday night. Douchbaggery on an epic scale. It's a nice room though and the doormen don't let it get crowded. Great people watching, especially the desperation outside. The crowd was 75 percent female, single dudes turned away. I had to laugh when I saw people waiting in line and elbowing and lying that it was their birthday. All for the privilege of paying a $20 cover for the privilege of buying $20 martinis and being snarled at by a bitchy coked out bartender. It's everything that sucks about the world crammed into a very nice room. I like the acrobats. Music on Sat: Bon Jovi mixed with techno beat. but hell, if someone else is paying, why not tag along?
