by Club Patron on 2010-05-30I am a regular patron of Club Ritz, and I have been one for the past 5 years. I love the vibe and atmosphere of the club. It is not overcrowded (on most night), has excellent bathrooms (contrary to other local clubs), very clean, reasonable (I never pay more than $10, except on concert nights),and well planned. They have multiple pool tables on both sides of the club. They have at least 15 bathroom stalls in the men and women restroom on both sides of the club. There is an eating area with flatscreen TV for those who want to chill. Flatscreen TVs located throughout the bar areas. Multiple VIP sections located in prime locations of the club. Four full service bars, and the list can go on.
I have no complaints with the bartenders and waitstaff. However, if it is crowded (due to concerts and what not), then patrons should be prepared to wait a little longer for service. This is a great club that has a full service bar (unlike various local clubs). I have never asked for a drink and they could not make it because they didn't carry a certain brand of liquor. The DJ plays a mixture of the old and the new. The new Club Ritz 2 opened July 2009, and I have loved every minute of it.

by Club Ritz 2 on 2009-09-27The Club Ritz @ was okay when it first opned up but now the owner has gotten hip to its popularity and instead of charging $10 like they have for the last 15 years now they want to charge $20? $20 isn't a lot of money, but for an overcrowded club filled with hoodrats it is. I don't mind spending that on going out to eat, but spending that for being able to dance around hoodrats? I can dance in my living room minus the hoodrats. And after reading what happened to old girl on her bday I definently won't be going back. And the lines to get in are re damn diculous.
by Never Again on 2009-09-25My experience at the club ritz was awful. I thought got away from central station, but I guess not. The guys were so rude the female look like trash I will never return. The club is to nice not to have a dress code.
by I HATE THE RITZ! on 2009-09-23I HATE CLUB RITZ II! I prefer the old Ritz over the newer one. Club Ritz II is filled with bougie individuals who think they're to good to dance and let loose and have fun. Further, its way to crowded and the waitresses are no where to be found! The lines at the bar are rediculously long and over crowded! To reiterate, the crowd is so freaking snobish!!!! I absolutely hate this club; its not fun at all and I plan to never return again!!!!!!!! Its truly overrated, and should return to its original roots (Bring back the old Ritz, the new one sucks)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
by DIVA on 2009-09-14I rented the upstairs V.I.P. section of CLUB RITZ on 7490 Old National HWY for my 21st Birthday. I was told that every paying section worth $500 received accomadations of 20 wristbands and 1 bottle (value of $125). The section worth $1000 dollars which is the one I received is supposed to receive 2 bottles (value of $250) and forty wristbands.
I came to rent the upstairs V.I.P. section on 9/9/09, 3 days before the date of the party. Came back 9/11/09 to put the rest of the money down and my 21st birthday 9/12/09, date of the party. Thsi is when they tried to take back what I was suppose to receive. When I ordered bottles witht he waitress she came back to inform me that I received no bottles. When speaking to one of the owners, he informed me because of the money arrangement paid for the section I was not entitled.
There is no stipulation of the such stated on my contract, was not told to me the day before th eparty when I put the remainder of my money in their hands. One bottle was sent to my V.I.P. section, MOET WHIT STAR (value of $65). My guests had to pay additional money for entry into the club regardless of the fact they had wristbands and was part of a v.i.p. party.
I ordered my own food and ended up paying for rounds of drinks (value of $90). There was no waitress on duty to serve my guests, my guests were walkign downstairs through an overcrowed club to go the bar and order drinks. My table was filthy with empty glasses, dirty plates and napkins as well as my floor. I did not have a reserved sign for my section. They were allowing those without wristabnds enter my V.I.P. section.
I had to request a waitress and a photographer over and over again. It took the waitress 30-45 minutes to come to my section and when she did she took all the remaining food, I had about 70 wings ($40 value) and threw them a way but left dirty glasses on my table. When I came back to my section my guest was complaining about where the food was. I requested the managers over and over, no one came to assist me. The d.j. even kept calling over the mic for the manager, photographer and waitress for me.
When the photographer came 1 hour later after being requested. I paid for two 4x6 pictures for a total of $20. I received my pictures in mix matched photo frames. I complained and they said they were out of the fram in which I requested. Not to mention the lighting of my section was dim and dull.
My special day was ruined by criminals, taking people money and not returning adequate service. I plan to take legal action because I expected to have a great outcoem for the money spent in staed I received service as a perosn who just paid admission to enter the club. I had to deal with stress of my guest being angry, more money being put out. Overall my party was disaster.
The money put out for this party totaled $750. does it seem like $750 worth of accomdations???
by Dafiezty on 2008-01-24Club Ritz is a perfect place to go when you want to encounter rude bartenders (begging for tips and ignoring you if you don't), and the younger dregs of what College Park has to offer. The music is pretty good if you consider the uncensored version of degrading rap songs entertaining and AT LEAST one crime occurs each week ranging from car break-ins to actual armed robbery in the parking lot! If you have nothing to lose and choose to hang with rogues then Club Ritz is for you. However, if you perfer to mingle with respectable members of the community you should travel downtown.
