by Moshe Unterreiner on Three stars for a completely average experience. I came here for the first time on Saturday, Feb. 12, for a friends birthday celebration and this is the place she chose. The plan was to meet at ten, forgoing the restaurant to just enjoy the lounge it turns into in the later evening. I rolled in at around 10:30 with some of the group. The line was easily 80-100 people deep at this point, which I later realized was way too long for a restaurant/lounge with nothing exciting going on. Luckily we were somehow able to bypass it (don't ask, we're cunning) and proceeded to the rooftop deck. The cash-only bar up top was well organized with an expediter relaying orders to the bar staff who were quick to whip up the drinks. The table service was also prompt. But what made this place not so good was the main room, particularly the sound system. For a place that turns into a "dance club" at night, their system is lackluster at best. The room has several rather small PA-type speakers mounted on the walls throughout the room, as a result there is little or no bass to be heard on the floor. In fact there is little presence in the music at all, it's difficult to hear the music, it just sounds loud with no clarity or definition. I realize that this isn't a concert hall, but you should at least be able to feel a beat. Obviously, since this place is trying to appeal to a broad crowd the DJ was spinning Top 40 the entire time, not my thing at all, and at times I found myself frustratingly head back up to the rooftop lounge, but they did a decent job of keeping people interested and dancing. I can't fault them for spinning music that I don't particularly like when it's what they do. But I can fault them for a rather poor floor layout that's just hard to maneuver, and not just because of the crowds. Like I said, as a whole not a bad place, but not good either. Come for the rooftop lounge, but if you want to get your dance on, go somewhere else.

by S S. on I absolutely love the music and the decor and the glass smoking room. The food is alright. But its the ambiance and the music that really make it for me. Really cool giant Buddha statutue. You would need bottle service to get in without standing in line! But really great Electronic/Techno music!
