Mostly latin dancing, not a typical club. Must have dance partner and be privvy to Latin dancing, but party goes all night. If you go alone, or do not know how to Latin/Salsa, you will be sitting down all night. $10 cover, you mostly get what you pay for.

Hurray for Death Guild!! This is a review just for the Death Guild on Monday nights! If wearing lots of black, stompy boots and ur male friends wearing more eyeliner than you, this is the place!!! They open up 2 dance floors. The more synth pop stuff on the first floor and the more meaty stompy stuff upstairs. It's a great place to dance and get very very sore too. Haven't experienced gropey creepy guys here!! Tasty Chicken quesadillas! I believe the bar is cash only. They are super strict on ID checking which is fine by me.

I've had a craving for the ceviche gazpacho, we usually have it at the Midtown West site but thought we would check out the new spot, next to the original. Wow... loved it! We will always have fond memories of the original.. note to self: check out Tin Lizzy. The new space is clean, large but inviting. The deck is larger so not as cozy but comfortable with those same great views of Oakland, downtown and midtown. Varied menu will accommodate all tastes, even the friends along for the beer and margaritas who prefer chicken or salads. Great sides, fried but not overly breaded. Definitely heavy on the southern fish FRY. Gazpacho's not on the menu yet but had the fish stew and regret I never tried it before. Tasty tomato base, not too spicy, just right.. a chunk of white fish, shrimp, scallops and even nice sized mussels... a bowl with the toasted garlic bread is a meal on its own; no need for the 2 sides. The oysters.. definitely fresh and a great deal.. less than 10 bucks for a dozen. Much better deal and experience than those chain sea food places. Note; limited street parking before 6 but there is a nice lot behind the building. Not sure if it will still be available once the new lofts are occupied.

if you are wandering in Little 5 Points aimlessly, and need a drink or want to hear not so mainstream music, usually a local act, go to STAR COMMUNITY BAR. I've seen GUITAR WOLF, WOGGLES, KINGSIZED, NEON CHRIST and countless of other bands, though mainly local ones, it's a great place to check out what ATL has to offer. If you're all about 99X rock star mentality, you're better off going across the street to Junkman's daughter for another NIN t-shirt. If you prefer the strip down version of it, come pay a visit. Now git me a PBR.
