Came here on a friday night around 9 with a party of 4 and had a great time! To address the long wait--they do call ahead seating so I called around 7:30 and when we got there our wait was less than 5 min. Our server, Felicia was great as well... she got everything right and brought all the little things we asked for very fast (extra lemons, hot sauce, etc., etc., etc.) Our food came out faster than I expected. She was really nice and very efficient. I had the shrimp basket... it was good, not at all greasy... and that jalapeno tarter sauce was soooo fresh and tasty! The Mr. had the blackened shrimp tacos.... i loooved these...they seemed like they'd be too complicated from the description on the menu but everything came together really well... the only thing i'd say is it was a little bit on the saltier side Someone else had the combo basket and he said the calamari and cod were also good and fresh. Now for the not so stellar... the sides. I went with the home made chips that come with the basket and they were just "meh" i ate a few but some of them had that slightly burnt-oil taste to them. I also ordered an extra side of "killer" cole slaw... and didn't like it at all. It had raisins in it and was really really (like dessert) sweet. no thanks. The others had the fries and they were okay... so next time i think i'll try a different side, they do have a large selection of sides to choose from so i'm sure i'll find something i like. Over all... next time i'm in the mood for some fried seafood this is where i'm headed. PS--they had siracha and 3 other hot sauces at every table... this gets them extra points in my book :)

I absolutely love the music and the decor and the glass smoking room. The food is alright. But its the ambiance and the music that really make it for me. Really cool giant Buddha statutue. You would need bottle service to get in without standing in line! But really great Electronic/Techno music!

I couldn't help but say "Whoa.." the minute I stepped into this theater/lounge. A cozy and unexpected surprise smack in between Chinatown and the LES, The Box was the Perfect (with a capital P) venue to see Imogen Heap perform. Think: Dark drapes, dim hanging lamps with ornate designs, candles, and stately but mismatched furniture. The stage was lit by many candles, and two standing lamps, creating a perfect frame around the red grand piano. The setting was amazing. And so was the music. Ms. Heap did mention that this place just opened recently, so I'm unsure about what to expect on a normal day. This place's website states that it is a "theater/fine dining" location.. hmm. One thing's for sure though. I'd definitely want to come back on a regular day to find out what's up.
