by Norman Zart on This was my first Atlanta nightclub once I moved to the city! I'm a little sad that they have decided to close their doors!! The Compound wasn't outrageously priced for admission or alcohol...I'd have to say they were pretty similar to most big city clubs. Great place, sad to see it go, but I'm sure there are many more great clubs in Atlanta!
by rachel p. on club waziema is exactly what a neighborhood bar should be. divey-but with personality--am loving that freaky red wallpaper. the service is a bit wanting, but that's ok, cause they're nice and friendly and happy that you're there. they have a great selection of beers and make strong cheap cocktails. i swear the bars that serve stoli and tonics for $5.50 are a dying breed. the food is pretty good too. i really liked the lamb and chicken meat combo, and there's this great lentil mush that comes with the veggie combo that's really yummy. also, it's cheap. three of us ate and had 2 drinks each for $50. how amazing is that? so really, what more could you ask for?
by Rachel T. on Definitely something interesting to do when you have nothing better to do! My first time at the Improv was pretty pleasant... good line up of comedians had me laughing pretty hard. Just don't heckle... one heckler got it pretty bad, but she was totally asking for it and acting like a dumb cracked up retard.
