This is a pretty place. Very relaxing. It has kind of a dim lighting. Plenty of tables inside and out. They have tvs outside. The have pool tables and a stage for music. They have a private booth also. The decor is fabulous. The service was great and they have a great menu. It's kind of hidden and it wasn't too crowded. A nice getaway.

People who reviewed this and immediately said posers and whatevers, i say you're definitely hating (you belong at the "one"). G Lounge is definitely the most sophisticated hot spot. The new underground lounge from the owners of Denim, definitely gave themselves the best upgrade from Denim to G. Besides the same expensive drinks as Denim, G has much more room, better music, and better decor. Interior is breathtaking as you walk down filled with just open rooms with bars from left to right and in front. I haven't even went to the roomy left side yet because the main floor was right up ahead with the DJ booth and waiting for you is readily bartenders taking your orders. NO waiting necessary just to get a drink fast. The Music? Better than Denim. It's definitely a great diverse mixture of music but a great flow with it, and especially with the diverse crowd. Now people may think it's all full of stuck up rich people, well I certainly did not see it that way. People are diverse in there, and it's definitely the same philly people you would see at any clubs. Unless you're stuck onto one hating ass club (like THE ONE) then you belong back to your club where you like to be around your hating unicircle groupies. Because G Lounge is sophiscated, upscale, and definitely the BEST Lounge I would definitely recommend for anybody who likes diversity and have a great time with a mix crowd and with good music. They play techno in the first half, and the rest of the night it's all hip hop, which is HELLA GOOD for me. I am not much of a techno fan, but if you put on the popular techno songs, then i'll do the funny robot dance and i'll pretend to be a bboy. And then when you play the Hiphop reggae, the good shit, i'll be dancing my ass off. And that's a good ass time. Bathrooms are so nice. People are so cute and friendly. Bartenders are good as well. Knowing all this, and that people know this is the spot to go to, NOW it's an overcrowding issue. Saturdays is your worst night with the extremely long line and too many people that packed that place up. I suggest going there on a Friday or be there early to have a great time. Remember parking in Rittenhouse is not easy! So be there early anyways. G is my hotspot if my friend throws a party there, and definitely THE BEST SPOT to recommend for anybody outside of philly. THIS IS DEFINITELY A NO SNEAKER PLACE, just like denim, so wear shoes! Sorry but they dont consider chucks shoes lol.

Third Floor Cafe might be a yawning *just another happy hour hangout* for some of us locals, but let's face it; this kind of places are rare for the outta-town folk, or suburban prisioner. First of all, its location; un-advertised, hiding away behind blacked-out windows on the third floor of an un-assuming building, it would be impossible to bump into this place unless someone thoroughly directed you, or took you (as it happened with me, when I first moved to NY)... I took a couple of friends that visited me a while ago, and upon approaching the deserted building storefront (a clothing store, complete with mannequins) they thought I was joking when I opened the glass door to get inside... still skeptical, they were impressed when upon reaching the 3rd floor, the elevator doors opened to reveal this smooth lounge, full with regulars, cozy and modern; we ordered a round of flavored mojitos and martinis; they have a sweet stock of cocktails to go with ur Korean side dishes or platters. This (or twin lounge R-Music Bar) is a good place for happy hour Thursday's if you feel like eating Korean while drinking; prices are rounded and music is appropiate. Four stars for nondescript slickness.
