it had an underground & basement like atmosphere. the house DJ for the night was Indicant (sp?). there's a full bar on the right & a DJ booth near the entrance corner. 3.5 rooms (sorta) to chill in & lounge sofas/chairs on the opposite side of the bar. the dance floor had just enough space to dance without bumping into much people so that's a plus. drinks were moderately priced at about $8 for cocktail/beer & $5 for a water bottle. the venue itself looks pretty cool & my adv ticket price was for $12. the age range is late 20's to mid-30's. i would definitely come back if i'm in the area.

My friends and I came here for a special House DJ last week and we had a blast! Yes, there was a cover. Yes, there was a mandatory coat check. Yes, the girl bartender overcharged one of us for drinks (I suggest you order drinks from the guy bartender and ask him how much each drink is.) BUT, and this is a huge BUT... Cielo rocked! Everyone was having a great time dancing, the drinks were tasty, the music kicked ass, the sound system was clear, the atmosphere was surprisingly not pretentious, AND there is an outdoor area in the back where you can smoke. It's pretty sweet. The dance floor was decent (watch out for the steps), and it wasn't so dark that you had to go stumbling around. It's just a happy place. lol. Also, there were some ridiculously good looking people at Cielo. And hey, if that's okay with you, you should definitely go here.

Geno's is okay, but the ordering system is lame (separate lines for separate items). The staff is extremely hostile and unfriendly in a seemingly intentional way. It is a stupid business model to have, when any given day probably 10-15% of their customers are first timers. Plus, they have the worst selection of "celebrity pictures" adorning the walls outside. You think I am impressed because Shavlik Randolph ate here once and signed a picture to document this? Exactly. Anyway, I have had better cheesesteaks elsewhere. The bread was kind of hard. Though it was flavorful, the portion of meat seemed to be a little on the smaller side. The cheese is pretty good. Obviously, since the whole cheesesteak cannot be greater than the sum of its parts, it merely struck me as normal. Nothing worth raving about. The fries were a little better, though.
