Cool place... Last time I was there couple of weeks ago, on my B'day. I had a table reservation, so thank's god we didnt have to stay in line... Night was cool, really great time! The best part of Marquee is Music, I'm a big fan of R&B and House music, so I was totally satisfied...LOL Service was good, can't complain! So why I didn't put 5 stars.... The only thing I didn't like was a crowd, lots of impertinent and disrespectful guys, who doesn't understand the word NO! Plus there were couple of guys trying to sit with us behind the table without invitation and the worth thing: they wanted to order drinks and put it on my tab....Can u imagine that??? I'm a girl and instead of buying drink for me, they wanted to use my money... I think that's ridiculous.... I hope next time there wont be such things... But in general, night was great! One of my favorite places in nyc!!!!!

Oh boy this place is hard to find. NO SIGN and construction didn't really help. I came here for a performance. The doorman/bouncer whatever you want to call it was totally disorganized. There were several lines and people just don't know where to lineup, and they were rude as well. The place is very old-fashion theater style which 2 floors.. table on the side and stage was so-so. I was too cheap to pay 60$ for table seat. I was standing the front right next to the stage.. I consider it was the best seat in the house heh. Will I recommend this place.. probably not.. but if they have great musician to perform here.. I probably will come back for the musician!!!

if you're not into all that electronica/house music at ruby skye, you'll probably like slide better. Your usual top 40's, but in general the music was ok... I just wanted to write a review to let everyone know when you go down the slide, make sure you listen to the lady at the top of the slide when she says to tuck in your arms, I skinned the side of my elbow, and it kinda hurts, but my main question is why is the bottom of the slide so damn high up? No wonder there's so many girls in skirts flashing everyone... they should just stick to the kiddie slides that end low to the ground, I think a lot less people would be getting their tailbones bruisd too..... anyways... venue is kinda small, I don't know how the drinks are priced, it's a pretty mixed crowd, and no one dirty or greasy that follows you around so that's nice, but you'll def run into people you know.... Which could be good.... Or bad. HA! ***** edit ****** minus another star the hairy butt faced bouncer... yeah the one with the short guy complex with the sunglasses at night time and the beret and leather jacket? yes, he's a douchebag. my friend: how long is the wait? short guy: i don't know, do you go to safeway and stand in line and ask the cashier how long the wait is??? EF U!!!! oh by the way, there were a group of three guys in front of us that tried to pretend they were in our group to get it in.... since the short guy was being such a hoodrat. but he ended up turning away a group of 10 asian chicks at like 10pm. wth? the first time i went there, there was no problem getting in. he claimed that we HAD to be on the party promoter's guest list to get in. yeah, you can say its guest list issues, but it was probably just some BS. i don't know, i don't care.... i don't have too much against slide itself, but i have an issue with the power tripping bouncer. probably won't be back until i'm on this 'party promoter's guestlist'
